Krista first unrolled her mat when her two boys were young. Life as a busy mom and full-0time secondary school teacher to her to search for some quiet time. She quickly learned the benefits of a regular practice; healing her body, and bringing peace to her chaotic mind. She credits yoga with teaching her to be more compassionate with herself, and with others, and explains that “yoga has taken all of my sharp edges and somehow softened them.”
In 2014-15, Krista completed 600 hours of Level 1 and Flow teacher training through Moksha International, and looks forward to Yin training with Bernie Clark in Vancouver in July 2018. Teaching yoga has kindled a passion in Krista, and she loves to share what she has learned about finding her way to a more balanced existence through breath and movement.
