Cindy’s yoga journey began in 2014 when she was gifted a 30 days pass. Hesitant to take her first class, she lacked confidence in her ability, but soon discovered the practice was very accessible, but more importantly, it was the way she felt after class, leaving the studio feeling peaceful and relaxed. Yoga has become part of her daily life and she is so grateful for this gift.
Her meditation practice became an extension of her yoga practice. Having thoughts of attending some training, she was once more hesitant. Last Autumn she shared her interest with a friend who encouraged her to pursue her interest and during the Spring/Summer 2017attended a 100 hrs Mediation Teacher Training through Naturality. The experience of learning how to settle our minds and become more balanced is something she is very excited to share with others. Working in Child Welfare brings about some very stressful days and knowing how to stay calm, mindful and balanced and sharing that with families has been a special gift.
